WHO IS SHE?
What Motivates Her?
Emily Ann Banks is a jack-of-all-trades theatre artist who resides in New York City, as most of the quirky, brown-haired girls with glasses do.
She fell in love with theatre at the ripe age of 7, when she received her very first stage role as Grumpy in a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - which is where her lineage of playing eccentric characters began. Emily has gone on to play Shakespearean men, ancient women, and animals ever since, and she absolutely adores it.
Emily received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Long Island University Post. Throughout her time at Post, she found a passion for many different avenues in her creative field, such as physical theatre, devising, writing, and producing.
When off-stage, Emily can be seen binge-watching Ghost Adventures, eating grilled cheeses, and violently pounding away at her keyboard, trying to express her ideas on her computer screen before they slip away from her memory.
